The first people to look up at the Texas night sky saw figures in the stars and made stories about them. Join us as we re-tell some of those Native American star stories!

Every culture on Earth has looked up at the night sky and turned the stars into stories, and the Native Americans were no different. Though we're more familiar with stories of Roman or Greek characters, Native American stories have been told in Texas for much longer. Come hear some of those stories and learn what you can do to help new generations appreciate the stars in the dark night sky.

Program is free with park entrance ($4 per adult, free for kids 12 & under).

Program takes place on the mission porch.
