Tactile Model Unveiling

Exciting things are happening at Goliad State Park!

On Saturday, March 14, from 11am to noon, we will be unveiling a tactile model of Mission Espiritu Santo. While this model was created with blind and visually impaired visitors in mind, this is an opportunity for everyone to experience the historic mission through touch. Admission to the park will be free for this event from 8 a.m. until noon, and we will also be offering other sensory-related programs throughout the day.

If you can't make it to the unveiling, don't worry - the tactile model is here to stay! Visit Goliad State Park anytime to explore the mission in a new way and enjoy this unique hands-on experience.
